75 students graduated on June 18th at the vocational school in Vilanculos, Mozambique. A training center funded by Yme and Norad from 2009-2011. Although the school was handed over to local hands in 2012 we decided to once again keep the tradition of giving each graduate a toolbox.
After completing vocational training the toolbox means a lot for each and every one! It might me the opening to get job. That means these young people can go straight to work, make a living and provide for their family. They can build the country! As Gracia Machell said in a speech to our students a couple of years ago:
- You have knowledge, you have the tools, go and conquer the world!
The students were happy and proud and got their diploma and toolkit delivered by the Mayor of Vilanculos.
A big thank you from Yme and the training center in Vilanculos to all of you who contributed!
